Commissioned Works - VILLA HEFTYE

At Villa Heftye, you can now experience seven works by Nikolai Gyllenhammar, created specifically for the fully renovated historic building. With interior design by Helene Hennie, the art and the spaces form a cohesive and thoughtfully curated whole.

The installation consists of one large-scale relief, five light works, and a monumental chandelier — together forming a unified artistic experience. Each work is tailored to the room in which it is installed, engaging with the architecture, materiality, and lighting conditions. The result is a sensual and immersive journey that invites the viewer into a charged and sexually charged exploratory universe.
